Maxxum/Dynax 500si

The KM 500si camera is a lightweight, feature laden, well built and affordable Minolta body. The grip is nicely textured in a matte finish, and the LCD is large and easy to read. The 500si began production in 1994-5, so this is a newer KM product with years of life left in it.

The 500si offers point and shoot ease with the ability to change lenses as well as numerous other capabilities should you require them:

The 500si is just loaded with features, including Double Exposure, Wireless/Remote Flash capability with 2:1 ratio control, a Built-in pop up flash with Red Eye reduction and a Battery life indicator.

One of the nicest features incorporated in this camera is the control dial for making exposure (and other) setting adjustments on the fly while you compose.

Of course it comes with the 4 standard Exposure Modes (Program, Manual, Aperture & Shutter Priority) as well as the Icon driven “Subject Program Indicators” (Portrait, Landscape, Action, Macro, Night Portrait) seen on “Point & Shoot” cameras.

Continuous and Predictive Autofocus provides accurate focus even with a moving subject. 8 segment honeycomb insures properly exposed photos.

Eh oui, une motorisation à une image à la seconde... Bref, je crois que je suis plus rapide avec le pouce sur mon FM2...
